Qatar Charity (QC) has participated in the ‘Reflection’ exhibition as a community partner, with some items reflecting the concept of wellness from the aspect of giving, and provided many volunteers guiding visitors at the event.
This was done with the aim of promoting the concept of wellness, QC said in a statement.
Running until Sunday, the exhibition organised at AlHosh Gallery in Msheireb Downtown Doha by 974 Wellness, a startup company that provides products and solutions to help live well, and raises awareness on healthy living for comprehensive wellness.
The ‘Reflection’ exhibition offers visitors an interactive experience on the concept of comprehensive wellness, which is a harmony of the health of body, soul, mind and heart.
The comprehensive experience encompasses an art exhibition, the journey of wellness and sickness, panel discussions and the Reflection Café.
The CEO of Qatar Charity, Yusef bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, praised the unique exhibition during a visit to it, appreciating the efforts made by QC’s volunteers.
Qatar Charity contributed to the ‘Reflection’ exhibition comes, with the aim of supporting the youth efforts that organised the exhibition, highlighting the impact of giving on the lives of the needy and inculcating the value of volunteering and charitable work in visitors by linking the concept of wellness to giving that reflects its impact on community members and a donor who feels happy when he contributes to supporting refugees, the displaced, and the poor.
Jassim Mohamed al-Emadi, director of Programmes and Community Development, said Qatar Charity’s participation in the exhibition is part of its efforts to support youth initiatives that provide service to society, noting that there are similarities between the goals of humanitarian action and the exhibition.
He added that QC seeks to provide a dignified life for the needy and contributes to achieving psychological wellness, while the exhibition aims to encourage visitors to think about the decisions they make today in order to achieve a positive impact and inclusive wellness in the future.
Al-Jazi al-Hanzab, who had the idea of the exhibition, thanked QC for its participation in the exhibition as a community partner and extending support to organise it, and praised Qatar Charity’s efforts for the benefit of the needy.
She also noted that the exhibition aims to educate people about complete wellness and raise awareness of a healthy and better life.
