The Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA) and The Business Year (TBY) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership to develop ‘The Business Year: Qatar 2020’, TBY’s sixth edition on the Qatari economy.
The MoU was signed in Doha by QBA chairman Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani and TBY country director for Qatar Ceca Tosic.
QBA is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation of business people working together to improve Qatar’s economic and civic vitality. The positive and entrusting relationships that QBA has threaded throughout the business community will help TBY provide the most realistic and accurate coverage of major investment opportunities in Qatar.
Sheikh Faisal said, “QBA is honoured to collaborate with TBY for its sixth edition on Qatar, sharing the goal of promoting and attracting investment into the country."
Tosic also said, “We are excited about this unique edition of TBY’s publication on Qatar, focusing on the capacity that Qatar is building to attract FDI and diversify its economy. This partnership will aid us in producing the most comprehensive publication of the Qatari economy to date.”
‘The Business Year: Qatar 2020’ will feature interviews with more than 200 leading executives and government ministers at a time when there is strategic momentum for real change and economic growth in Qatar.
TBY’s first-hand research reaches key international investors and members of the global business community, targeting international financial institutions, international corporations, investors, accountancy firms, industrial conglomerates, and governmental organisations.
‘The Business Year: Qatar 2020’ will be distributed extensively both domestically and globally, and will reach an even larger audience via TBY’s powerful network of digital platforms. All interviews and content will be also available on four partner business platforms: Bloomberg Terminal, Thomson Reuters Eikon, Dow Jones Factiva, and FactSet.
