At least four people were killed and 22 injured on Friday when a bomb exploded inside a mosque in Pakistan's southwest city Quetta, police was reported by Pakistani GEO TV as saying.
According to initial investigation by the police, the explosion was carried out with an improvised explosive device (IED) which was planted inside the mosque.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment, while an emergency was at Civil Hospital Quetta and other medical facilities in the city.
Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area while the bomb disposal squad was summoned to the location.
