With the collaboration of over 30 public and private sector partners in hospitality, retail, and entertainment, the ‘Summer in Qatar’ has demonstrated the commitment across sectors to further evolve to build a sustainable tourism sector, an official of the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) has said.
“Eid is a time for celebrating with family and friends. We at QNTC are pleased to bring people together for the holiday as we wind down our largest summer programme,” chief marketing officer Rashed al-Qurese said.
Mashal Shahbik from QNTC added: “This Eid marks the end of our biggest ‘Summer in Qatar’ programme, and we are thrilled to see so many people enjoying the activities on offer, especially the wide array of indoor entertainment events.
“The collaboration with partners across a range of entities is part of a wider strategy to diversify Qatar’s tourism offerings and develop year-round options for visitors and residents of all cultures and ages.”
