Doha Festival City (DHFC) has announced that it is “offering yet another reason” to celebrate this summer, bringing a special interactive game station where children will get to play with the characters of their favourite family movie — Toy Story, whose fourth instalment is premiering globally this summer.
Between June 27 and July 20, children can enjoy a variety of activities at the ‘Toy Story’ station located at the Centre Court on the ground floor of Doha Festival City, DHFC has said in a statement. The event is open to all, subject to a minimum spend of QR100 within the mall.
“From interactive screens teaching animation techniques to colour-in sheets, DIY gift cards and photo opportunities with their favourite characters, kids aged 4-12 years will find something to get them excited and fill their summer holiday with pleasure at this fun and interactive ‘Toy Story’ station,” the statement notes.
DHFC Kids Club members will have exclusive access on June 27, the opening day, from 6pm onwards, and priority access on any other day.
Those who have not registered their kids yet can still sign up for the Kids Club membership free of charge via the Doha Festival City website or by visiting the DHFC Customer Service desk located on the first floor.
The event comes as part of a series of activities that the mall management has planned for families during the summer holidays.
Robert Hall, general manager, said: “Doha Festival City is excited to collaborate with Disney to host a unique event in time for the Toy Story 4 global premiere. Our partnership will continue to bring our little shoppers closer to the characters they love throughout the year. We strive to make Festival City the place where families always find something fun and entertaining to do. We welcome everyone to join us and enjoy more memorable moments and experiences with us at Doha Festival City.”
