Happilac’s directors Khawaja Ammad Khalid Sikka (sales and marketing) and Khawaja Ahsan Shahid Sikka (industrial coatings and HR), along with marketing and international affairs head Shakeel Ahmed Khan are participating.
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, the patron of the event, visited the Pakistan Pavilion to meet with and discuss the products and services being offered by Happilac and the numerous other Pakistani companies present at the exhibition.
Speaking about the developments and growth planned for Qatar over the coming years, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister commented on the increasing need for a diverse and wide range of products and identified excellent potential for growth within the Qatari market.
Countless local businesses and manufacturers also visited the Happilac Paints stall and showed great interest in the products exhibited. Having recently won two state-level projects in Qatar; Green Line of Qatar Rail, and a large-scale schools renovation project for the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Happilac Paints has set foot in the Qatar market with a promising start.
Addressing the media, Khalid Sikka mentioned that Happilac Paints now has even bigger plans to establish itself in the local market.
“Having won the hearts of a handful of the market’s customers already, there was no doubt that Happilac Paints could successfully acquire a substantial share of the Qatari market,” he said.
Khalid Sikka also appreciated all the efforts of the Pakistani embassy, especially commercial secretary Salman Ali, and of the Pakistani business community in Qatar for the helpful role they played in ensuring Happilac Paints’ success locally.
