HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani visited a number of public schools to monitor the progress of the educational process for the academic year 2018-19.
During the visit, the PM was briefed on the level of preparation of schools for the new academic year and was briefed on the efforts made to promote education in order to achieve the aspirations and goals of the state's educational system.
HE Sheikh Abdullah issued a directive to all those involved in the education process to co-operate and exert their maximum efforts to promote the academic performance, which will lead to results that will contribute to the development path in the state.
The PM was accompanied by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed bin Abdul Wahed al-Hammadi.
