Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has launched its first-ever summer camp for children aged between six and 14 years.
The event is designed to provide a range of exciting activities for children in Qatar during the summer holiday, AZF has said in a statement.
The summer camp offers children the opportunity to take part in a variety of sports activities, including football, taekwondo, swimming, gymnastics, aerobics and a number of entertaining games and challenges.
AZF is also offering educational visits and tours of some of the key attractions in Qatar, such as the Tarsheed Park, Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar National Library and Khalifa International Stadium, among others.
AZF has also organised a number of lectures and sessions on healthcare and nutrition for those taking part, which are delivered in multiple languages, including French.
The summer camp, which started on July 8 and will conclude on August 15, runs for four days a week — from Sunday to Wednesday between 8am and 2pm across the Aspire Dome, Ladies Sports Hall and Aspire Park Cinema.
So far, 120 children have signed up to participate in the camp.
