Amir sends greetings to king of Belgium
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to King Philippe of Belgium on his country’s National Day. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent a similar cable to Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.

Qatar ranks 2nd in Tunisia foreign investments
The State of Qatar has the second largest foreign direct investment in Tunisia, accounting for 16% of the country’s available investments. France ranked first in terms of classification of foreign direct investments by country, by about 215mn dinars, representing 23% of total foreign direct investment excluding energy, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of Tunisia. Italy came third, with 12.6%, followed by Germany and the United Kingdom, which maintain a distinct position in Tunisian co-operation because of their presence within the Tunisian-European partnership.
