The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law of the Ministry of Justice signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the regional mission for the GCC states based in Kuwait, in order to enhance co-operation between the two sides and exchange experiences in international humanitarian law.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and President of the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law Sultan bin Abdullah al-Suwaidi said in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the MoU comes within the framework of maintaining close relations and fruitful co-operation and exchange of experiences with regional and international committees concerned with the international humanitarian law.
