The fourth co-ordination meeting with security managers in hotels, security companies, commercial complexes and tourist sites, held on Monday at the Ministry of Interior, discussed topics related to maintaining the security and safety of establishments and strengthening co-operation and co-ordination to achieve security in these vital facilities.

The meeting, held at the Establishments and Authorities Security Department at the ministry, was attended by representatives from different departments of the ministry and related entities.

The meeting also saw drills for safety procedures at malls and hotels involving security personnel in different emergency situations such as maintaining a crime scene, how to use safety and security equipment, alarm panel, the importance of providing the civil defence officials with maps and familiarsation with the evacuation process.

The attendees also discussed a number on topics related to safety and security at vital establishments and ways to contact the relevant entities at the Ministry of Interior to solve any challenges.

Director of Establishments and Authorities Security Department Ali Khajim al-Adhbi said the meeting was part of discussing shared topics and issues that is of importance to all entities, including the ministry, state institutions, hotels, halls or security guard companies.

He highlighted that the discussions reflected everyone's keenness to promote security and safety in hotels and malls, stressing the importance of co-operation in order to achieve the shared goals.
