The Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued the 13th annual report on education in Qatar, including data and information for many important aspects of the country’s school education for the academic year 2017/2016, as well as selected comparative data 
covering the years 2015 to 2017.
Omar Abdulaziz al-Ne’ma, director, Schools Evaluation Department, said that the new edition provides a quantitative vision of the reality of education in Qatar and the latest data in this context. It includes accurate details of most of the educational process and the information. It provides a good opportunity to analyse this information and then discuss it to make the right decisions in order to achieve the desired development of the education system to become a true supporter of sustainable development.
He called on all educators, researchers and media professionals to view the report on the website of the Ministry of Education, and to make maximum use of it, through good reading of the valuable information contained there, and conducting scientific studies and research, especially as it includes extensive, accurate and detailed data on students, parents, teachers, principals, educational services and facilities, evaluation of practices and teaching methods, homework, academic achievement of students, and other important information about students’ attitudes and behaviour, the interaction and participation of parents in schools, as well as comparative information on selected aspects for the academic years 2015-2017.
