With sleek designs, powerful engines and a plethora of patented solutions, the Ferrari 488 Spider and GTC4Lusso were notable eye-catchers at the Qatar International Boat Show that took place at Porto Arabia, The Pearl-Qatar.
Alfardan Sports Motors, the official dealer of Ferrari in Qatar, welcomed guests at the show with a Ferrari 488 Spider that showcased Maranello’s ongoing history of open-top V8 sports cars. Another icon that was on site ready to impress was the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, Ferrari’s four-seater model that integrates rear-wheel steering with four-wheel drive.
“Everyone visiting the show was there to discover the latest technological advancements. With outstanding performance, superb handling and control, the Ferrari 488 Spider and GTC4Lusso showcased unique driving pleasure that only Ferrari can deliver and added a powerful touch to the guests’ show experience,” said Charly Dagher, general manager, Ferrari Qatar at Alfardan Sports Motors.
As Ferrari’s most powerful-ever mid-rear-engined V8 car to feature the patented retractable hard top, the Ferrari 488 Spider demonstrated strength with a maximum power output of 670CV combined with a maximum torque of 760Nm at 3,000rpm, sending the 488 Spider sprinting from 0 to 100km/h in 3 seconds flat and from 0 to 200km/h in 8.7 seconds.
Also on show was the GTC4Lusso, which, despite its sleek and luxurious styling, features a 6,262cc V12 engine that punches out a maximum of 690CV at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 697Nm at 5,750rpm, delivering a top speed of 335km/h and reaching 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Visitors were amazed by the design of Ferrari 488 Spider and the GTC4Lusso, both reflecting a mix of innovation and Ferrari’s legacy, a statement noted. The Ferrari 488 Spider is the latest chapter in Maranello’s ongoing history of open-top V8 sports cars featuring the highest level of innovative technology and design. The GTC4Lusso has an extremely streamlined, tapered shape that underscores its perfect balance of elegance and sportiness whilst still incorporating large comfortable rear seats and roomy boot.
Both models will now be available for test drives post-Qatar International Boat Show at Alfardan Sports Motors.
