Tyler Bozak and Mitch Marner both scored in the shootout, and James van Riemsdyk notched his third career hat trick as the Toronto Maple Leafs rallied for a 6-5 victory over the visiting Dallas Stars on Wednesday.
Patrick Marleau and Nazem Kadri also scored for Toronto. Curtis McElhinney came off the bench for 13 saves and stopped both shootout attempts he faced as the Maple Leafs extended their franchise-record home win streak to 11 games.
Frederik Andersen finished with 17 saves before leaving midway through the second period with an upper-body injury apparently sustained when Dallas forward Alexander Radulov fell on his head during a goal-mouth scramble midway through the first period.
Brett Ritchie, Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Remi Elie and Radek Faksa all scored for Dallas, which lost its third consecutive game and fell for the fifth time in six contests.Goaltender Kari Lehtonen finished with 27 saves.
Rangers 4, Penguins 3 (OT)
Mika Zibanejad scored the tying goal in the third period and the winner in overtime, and Chris Kreider had four points to lead host New York to a win over Pittsburgh. 
Kreider found Zibanejad with an on-stick pass right in front of the goal, and Zibanejad beat Casey DeSmith at 2:53 of overtime for his 100th career goal and 22nd of the season on Wednesday.
Zibanejad evened the score at 3-3 with 3:17 left in regulation, scoring a power-play goal. Alexandar Georgiev finished with 37 saves for the Rangers while DeSmith stopped 29 shots for the Penguins.

Ducks 3, Canucks 0
John Gibson made 32 saves for his third shutout of the season as Anaheim blanked visiting Vancouver. Gibson posted his 15th career shutout as the Ducks end their three-game losing streak and move into a tie for third place in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Kings.
The Canucks, meanwhile, were eliminated from playoff contention. Brandon Montour scored two goals for the Ducks, while Jason Chimera scored once and added an assist.
Devils 8, Golden Knights 3
Blake Coleman scored two goals and Michael Grabner, Nico Hischier and Taylor Hall each had a goal and an assist to lead visiting New Jersey to a victory over Vegas. Travis Zajac, Stefan Noesen and Kyle Palmieri also scored goals and Brian Gibbons added a pair of assists for New Jersey.
Keith Kinkaid finished with 39 saves in winning for the eighth time in his past 10 starts. Erik Haula scored two goals and Colin Miller had a goal and an assist for Pacific Division-leading Vegas, which had a three-game winning streak snapped and took its worst home loss of the season.

Sharks 4, Oilers 3 (OT)
Tomas Hertl’s second goal of the game was the overtime winner as San Jose erased three deficits en route to a win over host Edmonton. Hertl created a turnover and teamed up with Logan Couture on a two-on-one rush for the difference-maker at 2:40 of overtime at Rogers Place. Couture collected one goal and two assists, and Sharks goalie Martin Jones made 25 saves. Couture and Brenden Dillon also scored for San Jose, while Drake Caggiula, Oscar Klefbom and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins tallied for Edmonton.
