Qatar’s Al Koot Insurance & Reinsurance Company and University of Navarra Hospital have signed a health services agreement that provides treatment to Al Koot’s insured client base.
The University Hospital of Navarra is one of the oldest university hospitals in Spain and equipped with the “best scientific staff and modern technology” in medical research and treatment.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Spanish ambassador Ignacio Escobar and Al Koot chief executive officer Ahmed Rafea al-Emadi.
The event was attended by Miguel Angel Fajardo, Commercial Attaché at the Spanish Embassy; Jehad Badreddin Rahima, chief officer (Health and Life), Al Koot; Alonso Gil-Casares and Roberto Lapieza (Navarra University Hospital).
Escobar expressed his satisfaction with the agreement reached by two of the leading companies in their respective sectors. 
Al-Emadi said, “This agreement is part of the wide spread of the healthcare network of Al Koot Insurance and Reinsurance Company. The selection of Navarra University Hospital came as a result of their great development in the field of medical research and the great progress in all areas of treatment. The health sector in Spain is one of the most advanced in the world and Al Koot Insurance and Reinsurance Company is expanding its relations with the medical sector in Spain in the coming period to ensure the best treatment of difficult diseases for the customers of the company”. 
Al-Emadi stressed that the company’s strategy focuses on providing the best treatment to its customers in the world’s top health centres. The company will sign more agreements with leading hospitals in Spain and other countries, taking into account the high efficiency of these hospitals.
