His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday Decree No 1 of 2018, ratifying a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field organising exhibitions between the governments of Qatar and Turkey, which was signed in Trabzon, on December 12, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No 2 of 2018, ratifying an MoU to co-operate in the health sector between the governments of Qatar and India, which was signed in Doha on June 5, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

cabinet decisions

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday ratified the Cabinet Decision No 1 of 2018, to extend the grace period for the correspondents to the provisions of Law No 13 of 2016 on protecting the privacy of personal data. The Emir also ratified the Cabinet Decision No 2 of 2018, to establish co-ordination committee for search and rescue mechanisms in civil aviation. The decisions are effective the day following their date of issue.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued an instrument of ratification approving the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Tourism Authority and National Tourism Administration of China on facilitating Chinese tourist groups to Qatar, signed in Chengdu on September 12, 2017.
The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification on the MoU on establishing a joint committee between the governments of Qatar and Indonesia, signed in Jakarta on October 18, 2017.

Emiri Decision on Kahramaa panel
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued the Emiri Decision No 1 of 2018 on establishing the financial sustainability steering committee for Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
The decision is effective the day following its date of publishing in the official gazette.

Advisory Council
team for Kuwait

A delegation of the Advisory Council is participating in the meeting of the Parliamentary Co-ordination and External Relations Committee of the Legislatures of Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), slated for today in Kuwait. The meeting comes within the framework of preparations for the Gulf Parliaments’ Speakers Conference, to be hosted by Kuwait next Monday.
