Qatar Chamber (QC) has issued a comprehensive guide for the services it provides to the private sector, in both English and Arabic.

The guide includes seven chapters that include the details of all the services and how best to use them, in order to ease and make members of the chamber aware of the needed procedures to receive services in a simplified manner.
The service guide includes ratification of commercial invoices and issuance of certificates of origin for export and re-export purposes.
It also includes subscription services that include registration of institutions and companies as well as arbitration services provided by the Qatar International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) within the framework of the settling commercial disputes.
The guide also spreads the culture of arbitration among the business community, as well as training and development services, business services and committees, where the manual includes the definition of each service and the procedures to be followed and a list of Chamber contacts depending on the service needed.
QC Director General Saleh bin Hamad al-Sharqi said the aim of the guide is to include a full list of services provided by the Chamber in one booklet that involves all the services needed by the businessmen and QC members, some of which are routine public services.
Other services are provided by the Chamber in order to enhance its relationship with the business community and help the private sector develop itself and play the desired role in the overall development witnessed by Qatar.
He added that QC is working to enhance communication with the members and to link them further with the services provided.
In this regard, the Chamber has updated the data of the members through its website and through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose in order to facilitate communication with the members and invite them to participate in various events held by QC such as conferences, seminars, meetings, exhibitions and other events, he said.
Al-Sharqi said the recent period has seen a large number of business people taking part in the Chamber's activities, which indicates that the Chamber is moving in the right direction with regard to enhancing communication between the Chamber and its members.
