Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has said that elections will help in maintaining political stability and maturity in the country and strengthen political achievements made so far. 
She was speaking at a function organised in Kathmandu to celebrate 103rd birth anniversary of Ganesh Man Singh the “Iron Man” and father of democracy in Nepal.
She said that late Ganesh Man Singh played a significant role in initiating political change in Nepal.
President Bhandari stressed that it would be a true tribute to late leader if we work to hold elections as stipulated by the constitution in a free, fair and peaceful manner. President Bhandari appealed people of Nepal to take part in upcoming parliament and provincial elections.
