Qatar is set to utilise the most cutting-edge technology to provide the best experience for football fans at the FIFA 2022 World Cup, digital technology expert Nauman Gul told Qatar Urdu Radio’s live show Haqeeqat yesterday.
“Qatar is working to provide the best virtual experience for people even inside the stadiums. There are many ways in which broadcast cameras can be used and there is a lot of work going on enhancing the virtual experience for football fans,” he explained.
“Qatar will ensure that spectators benefit from technical advantages that football fans have never witnessed inside stadiums before,” he added.
Haqeeqat, which aims to engage and interact with the large South Asian expatriate community in Qatar, is a joint venture of the Gulf Times and Qatar Media Corp Urdu Radio.
It is broadcast from Sunday to Thursday on FM107.
The show is hosted by Saif-ur-Rehman.
