In their editorials today (Sunday), Qatari newspapers have regarded the demands presented by siege countries to Doha and demanded their implementations with few days as interference in internal affairs of Qatar and a new chapter of the escalation and prolongation of the fabricated Gulf crisis.

They added that the siege made Qatar stronger, consolidated people rallying around its leadership and opened before Doha a wide and promising prospect for new partnerships in different fields, stressing that Doha will not beg for and rush into solutions and will only sit down at the negotiating table after the siege is lifted.

In an article by its editor, Al Raya rejected the presented demands by the states that triggered the crisis and made people preoccupied with its tragedy, adding they damaged the interests of the people of the Gulf and their bonds of kinship and violated their rights. They must first apologize to the State of Qatar and compensate for those affected and lift the siege immediately; only after that they can sit down at the negotiation table without any preconditions.

Strangely, these parties, after their wrongdoing came to light, were supposed to apologize to the State of Qatar, its people and to the Arab and international public opinion for their actions committed without rationale, evidence and legal reasoning. But everyone is reassured that it is hatred against Qatar that drives them to escalate but the steadfast and responsible Qatari rationale made the siege a failure, the paper continued.

The daily pointed out that the demands of the siege countries are incompatible with human rights in knowledge, freedom, decent living, mobility, work, housing and protection, which means that these parties have placed themselves in the face of the international and civil community and world opinion by denying these rights, regardless of religion, race and country, adding that these demands were formulated by the countries of the siege after about 3 weeks of targeting the State of Qatar as a mechanism to undermine Doha and erode its sovereignty on the grounds of hatred and envy. All these demands affect national sovereignty and intervene in its internal affairs, which are rejected by the State of Qatar in toto.

This continued systematic targeting and siege made the State of Qatar more powerful and made its people rallies around its wise leadership and opened before Doha a wide and promising prospect for new partnerships in all fields, the daily added, considering that what the siege countries did against Qatar and its people is a trick to deflect attention from its practices and suspicious relations with many countries and organizations enemies of the nation.

Al Raya said that the State of Qatar will not accept interference in its internal affairs as much as it will refrain from it and will never accept the erosion of its sovereignty and the imposition of guardianship over it and prejudice to the independence of its decision. The State of Qatar is an integral and active part of its Gulf, Arab and Islamic fabric and such slanderous and false fabrications will not force it to give up its avant-garde role in supporting the issues of its brothers and nation or neglect its national affiliations, because the future of all depends on their unity and solidarity in facing the challenges that lie ahead.

The State of Qatar will continue to respond to the mediation of HH the Emir of the State of Kuwait and rely heavily on his wisdom and experience in ending this fabricated crisis, but Doha will not beg for and rush into solutions and will only sit down at the negotiating table after the siege is lifted as HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani had said, the daily concluded.
