United Development Company (UDC), master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, has prepared a line-up of family-oriented activities for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations in the country.
Building on the recent success of its Ramadan initiatives, UDC wants to offer a unique entertainment experience for the Island’s residents and visitors.
Celebrations will take place for three days from 6pm to 10pm, which will include arts and crafts stations and a kitchen workshop for children, stilt walkers, jugglers, mascots and human statues.
Apart from three daily theatrical plays and a photo corner with props and branded photo framing, organisers will also offer henna drawing, face painting and balloon twisting, in addition to distribution of popcorn, cotton candy and water.
In holding such events, UDC noted that Porto Arabia seeks to cement its position as an attractive tourism destination during the Eid festivities.
The activities will take place at an indoor hall at 29 La Croisette, Porto Arabia, in an ambiance of fun and joy that will bring families together in line with Islamic traditions and Qatari culture. The Pearl-Qatar welcomes thousands of visitors, residents and tourists from across the world every year. It also continues to host a variety of events, programmes and live shows, which bring joy and fun.
In the past six months, the island witnessed the inauguration of more than 40 new outlets. These include cafes, restaurants, and gift shops in Porto Arabia, Medina Centrale and Qanat Quartier, providing new lifestyle offerings to the Island’s visitors.
