EMKE Group chairman M A Yusuff Ali and Abeeb Ahmad, managing director of LuLu Financial Group and Twenty14 Holdings were among the Indians who figured in Forbes Middle East fifth edition of top Indian leaders in the Arab world.
In recognition of his contribution to the retail sector in the region, Yusuff Ali was honoured for the fifth year in running. Vipul, India’s consular general to the UAE presented the awards to the winners.
The other prominent Indians in the list include Ravi Pillai, managing director, RP Group of Companies; Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, founder and managing director of VPS Healthcare; Dr Azad Moopen, chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare; Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group; Shaji Ul Mulk, chairman, Mulk Holdings and Adnan Chilwan, group chief executive of Dubai Islamic Bank, among others.
