The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) Public Cleaning Department has spotted a number of animal carcasses on the eastern and western beaches of the country, during daily cleaning works.
Co-ordination has been maintained with the entities concerned at the environment affairs sector regarding the examination of these carcasses to determine the cause of their death and complete the necessary procedures in such cases.

For two consecutive days, the Public Cleaning Department's Islands and Beaches Section has cleaned the Sealine beach of all the refuse materials discarded by visitors.
Al Rayyan Municipality's Al Gharrafa Office issued nine violation reports in March regarding the public cleaning, all of which were resolved through reconciliation after the violators paid fines and removed the violations.
Other 16 violations reports in the same connection were also issued within the same period. In addition, 15 abandoned vehicles and cabinets were spotted and removed. Further, 14 batches of various refuse materials were removed.
