Strong winds, dusty conditions and low visibility are expected to continue affecting the country over the next few days, intensifying during the weekend, the Qatar Met department said in a report on Tuesday.
The weather office has also issued a warning for offshore areas during this period. Weather charts indicated the continuation of northwesterly windy conditions. The wind speed is expected to range from 15-25/30 knots on Wednesday, while the sea level will be 6-8ft. 
“Stronger northwesterly windy conditions” were likely across all areas in Qatar on Thursday and Friday, ranging from 20-30/38 knots. The wave height, meanwhile, will hover around 8-10ft and reach 13ft in some areas. 
Visibility might drop to 2km or lower in some areas due to blowing dust in this period, with the temperature expected to be around their average levels. All warnings were likely to be cancelled on Saturday evening, it informed. 
In view of the expected conditions, the Met department urged people to be cautious and avoid venturing into the sea during this period.
The weather on Wednesday will be hot during the day and slight to blowing dust is likely in some places along with clouds. Similarly, slightly dusty conditions will prevail in offshore areas along with some clouds.
The maximum temperature will be 39C in Wakrah and Mesaieed and 37C in Doha.
On Tuesday, the maximum was 39C in Turayna, 38C in Sheehaniya and Batna, 37C in Mesaieed and 36C in Doha.
