Following the conclusion of HH The Emir’s Sword International Showjumping Championship yesterday, the United Development Company (UDC) was awarded by HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani for its continued support and partnership of the event.
As a leading Qatari public shareholding company, UDC, for the fifth consecutive year, extended a silver sponsorship to this prestigious event in recognition of its
corporate social responsibility initiatives and commitment to serving the development of sports and culture in the State of Qatar for the good of the Qatari community.
In the context of honouring the winning riders and rewarding their season-long efforts and achievements, The Emir also delivered awards to the corporate sponsors of this lavish Arabian race, whose unwavering support makes up the backbone of this successful and much-awaited event.
UDC President & CEO Ibrahim Jassim al-Othman received the award on behalf of the company. “We are honoured to attend this ceremony to mark the conclusion of this wonderful national championship.
