Al Arabi swamped Al Ahli 75-49 in the Qatar Men’s League yesterday for one of the most one-sided results of the tournament so far.
Talla Momar scored a game-high 21 points for the winners, including 12 from the three-point mark, while Hamed Moutasim, Ndour Souleye and Adako Osaro had 11 points apiece.
Al Arabi were off to a flier, leading 12-13 after the first five minutes, before further consolidating their hold on their hapless neighbours.
They led 32-16 after the second quarter and 56-27 after the third before securing their 26-point victory.
For Al Ahli, Abdulrahman al-Muftah was the top scorer with 17 points, while Aleksander Mitrovic had 13.

By the time the second quarter had ended, Al Wakrah led 57-29, and although Qatar Sports Club scored 26 points in the second, it was not enough for them to mount a fightback.
For Qatar Sports Club, Meddrick Doggett scored 29, while Ibrahim Giama had 25.
On Tuesday, Al Gharafa play Al Rayyan, while Al Shamal meet Al Sadd.
