Sunday may be one of the coldest days of the current winter season with the mercury forecast to drop to 10 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country.

Cold conditions, accompanied by strong winds will be felt mostly during the pre-noon hours. The coldest will be the southern and northern areas of the country, the Met office Saturday said.
The capital Doha and the western parts too will be colder compared to the previous days. Doha is expected to witness a minimum temperature of 14 degrees and a maximum of 22.
Dusty and cloudy conditions are also on the cards.
Winds of about 25 knots are expected to lash the offshore areas but may fall to 5 to 15 knots later in the day, with a possible change in its direction from south westerly to south easterly by afternoon.
There are also chances of the sea rising up to 9 feet at times. But by noon, it may recede to 2 to 4 feet.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in different places will be as follows: Mesaieed and Wakra 10 and 21, Doha 14 and 22, Al Khor 10 and 21, Ruwais 10 and 21, Dukhan 15 and 19 and Abu Samra 14 and 20 degrees .
