A court is hearing a case wherein a young GCC citizen is involved in a dispute with a house owner over termination of a rent contract.
The man had rented a house for three years, with a monthly rent of QR30,000.
However, he wanted to terminate the contract due to the high rent and told the court that he was still a student and would not be able to continue with the contract.
He also expressed fear that the cheques he had given to the owner would bounce because he did not have enough
credit in his bank account.
However, the owner insisted that the contract be upheld by the tenant.
The case is still being heard in court.
