Murwab Hotel Group, Katara Hospitality’s operating arm, has unveiled the legendary Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne in Switzerland, in a grand opening ceremony signifying the hotel’s official opening after an ambitious remodelling exercise that restored the hotel to its historic aesthetic charm.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, chairman of Katara Hospitality, Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne hosted more than 500 guests including  Qatar’s ambassador to Switzerland, Dr Mubarak Kleefiefh K al-Hajri, Pierre Antoine Hildbrand, representative of the city of Lausanne, Hamad Abdullah al-Mulla, CEO of Katara Hospitality, Bruno Schöpfer, managing director, The Bürgenstock Selection and Katara Hospitality Switzerland, and state counsellors and officials from Switzerland.
