A vessel carrying five Indian fishermen from Bahrain has been seized by the Qatari Coastguard for straying into the country's territorial waters, sources said.
The boat was reportedly captured somewhere near the periphery of the Northern coastguard territory.
The five fishermen were identified as Suresh, Reagan, Sahayaraj, Sahaya Bineesh and Amal Raj.
All except one are said to be natives of Kanyakumari district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
