The relief ship ‘Hope’  has arrived in Yemen’s port of Aden. The relief is funded by Qatari philanthropists through Eid Charity Foundation and Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF).
In a press release issued yesterday, Eid Charity said that the ship is carrying 2,500tonnes of food meant for around 250,000 people in Aden and other affected areas.
Eid Charity general manager Ali bin Abdullah al-Suwaid said that the cost of ‘Hope’ shipment amounted to around QR10mn, adding that it will be distributed to those affected by the conflict in Aden and neighbouring regions.
