Ezdan Holding Group has honoured 161 employees who participated in different training courses conducted by the company.
The group’s Human Resources and Administration department has launched a series of training courses for personnel from various departments, covering different areas related to the development of professional and interpersonal skills.
In a statement, the group said it was holding the courses as part of its keenness to boost the capabilities of its employees and raise productivity and efficiency, which would, in turn, have a positive impact in terms of operational possibilities.
The group’s senior management, represented by chief operating officer Dr Moussa al-Awwad, was eager to honour participants of the training courses in order to “motivate them and make them feel that their efforts and contributions were valued and appreciated”, the statement noted.
A total of 26 training courses, featuring 161 employees, have been held this year. The courses have tackled multiple issues, including managerial skills development, customer service and leadership abilities development, besides training programmes aimed at raising the operational capacity.
During the courses, interactive multimedia tools have been used to facilitate the learning process and allow the participants to acquire further information, as well as benefit through the exchange of different experiences with other employees.
The training sessions also allowed the participants to ask various questions and perform effective exercises that helped enhance their understanding of the course objectives, grasp the concepts addressed and facilitate discussions on the best ways to maintain strong and effective communication between all departments at Ezdan Holding Group, the statement explained.
Dr al-Awwad stressed that the group is keen to develop the skills of its employees through intensive training courses that provide customised learning and development solutions to help them excel in their roles, acquire new skills, increase their contribution to the business and build their self-esteem.
The current year’s courses have included 15 training sessions within the group and 11 outside it, from which 138 employees and 23 managers have benefited, it was informed.
Referring to the group’s strategies for 2016, Dr al-Awwad said: “One of the most important strategic principles for 2016 is based on the allocation of various resources in order to support our capabilities and qualify them to effectively respond to the various challenges of the job market.
“We decided to develop this approach by organising training courses within our headquarters to provide training opportunities to our employees and the means to hone their skills as per our business needs.”
The Training and Development section has distributed questionnaires among the participants to find out how they have benefited from the courses.
