Kahramaa president Essa bin Hilal al-Kuwari joins the Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada during the formal opening of the environment fair.

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) highlighted the 8th QP Environment Fair with the screening of Tarsheed, including a children’s play and other educational activities.
Kahramaa president Essa bin Hilal al-Kuwari joined the Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, who led the formal opening of the environment fair held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
Staff from Kahramaa’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Conservation & Energy Efficiency departments delivered the company’s environmental programmes and initiatives including the screening of Tarsheed, the National Programme on Conservation and Energy Efficiency.
Kahramaa also featured entertaining and educational activities, including a quiz that focused on environment and sustainability for students and visitors.
Both the departments also discussed Kahramaa’s activities and other measures being undertaken for environment protection. Kahramaa also highlighted the salient features of its ongoing National Program for the Conservation and Energy Efficiency substantiated with positive outcome data and its impacting results of inculcating conservation culture among all communities and will also reveal its contributions for sustainability.
Kahramaa distributed literature on energy conservation to orient visitors and exhibitors about the ways and means being used to protect the environment. A number of experts from the departments concerned also answered queries from visitors.
