HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada arrived in Tehran yesterday leading Qatar’s delegation to the 15th Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), which will be held today.
On his arrival, HE Dr al-Sada met Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Iranian Oil Minister. Talks during the meeting covered co-operation between the two countries in the energy field, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
The agenda of the GECF’s Ministerial Meeting includes several issues, among them the presentation and discussion on current gas market development, appointment of a new Secretary General, approval of the next year budget, as well as discussion of reports on the GECF performance this year.
