Emir receives leaders for Arab summit in Doha

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani led well-wishers to welcome arab leaders and their accompanying delegations upon their  arrival yesterday at Doha International Airport to take part in the 24th ordinary Arab summit, due to open today. HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani was also on hand to welcome the leaders. They included Iraqi Vice Presdient Dr. Khudeir Musa al -Khuza’e, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bahsir,  President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, Tunisian President Dr. Mohamed Moncef al-Marzouki, Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Libyan interim prime minister Ali Zeidan Mohamed, President Sheikh Hassan Mahmoud of the Republic of Somalia, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said and President Ikililo Dhonine of the Federal Republic of the Comoros. Later HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani led well-wishers to welcome Egyptian President Dr. Mohamed Mursi and his delegation. Earlier HH the Heir Apparent welcomed the President of National Coalition for Opposition Forces and the Syrian Revolution Moaz al-Khatib.
