The new service to Bangkok, which commences on March 25, is part of the award-winning airline’s continued expansion in Southeast Asia, following its launch of direct service to Thailand’s Chiang Mai late last year.

Qatar Airways is launching as many as 26 “exciting” new destinations until end-2018, the national carrier said on Tuesday. These include Chiang Mai (Thailand); Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco and Santiago, Chile.
Qatar Airways has announced that it will expand its network by flying to Chiang Mai, Thailand, from December 16. It will operate services to Chiang Mai five times a week via Yangon with an A330-200.
