Two army soldiers have been killed and 28 civilians injured when an army truck collided with a passenger bus in Sri Lanka, police said yesterday.
Police said the bus was travelling from the capital Colombo to Moneragala in Uva district when it collided with the army truck at Ratnapura, 100km southeast of Colombo, Xinhua news agency reported.
The wounded were rushed to a nearby state hospital for
treatment.
