Gwen Stefani was at her best at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, the venue for the Qatar 2015, 24th Men’s Handball World Championship, in Doha on Saturday.
Her performance post the Denmark versus Poland preliminary round match at the venue not only left a lasting impression on the minds of the spectators and fans gathered at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, but also on the indigenous fashion designers of Qatar.
She started the performance wearing a bright blue short kurti with heavy embroidery, which was much in contrast to the outfits she usually sports during her concerts. The kurti was paired up with blue jeans.
The 45-year-old American singer not only charmed the audiences with her pop and hip hop, but went a step further in getting the audiences off their seats when she decided to enter the spectators’ arena.
Stefani jumped off the barricade and into the stands making the hearts of her fans skip a beat. She walked through the seats, shaking hands and giving her fans a hug.
Soon she was out of sight and into the changing room, emerging after a short break.
This time she could be spotted wearing a white embroidered kurti that was slit on one side waist down. The kurti was nicely paired with jewellery, white leggings and platforms to match.
Stefani who is an acclaimed fashion designer herself, paused for a while and said, “I didn’t know what to wear for the concert, so I just went to the local designers and they designed these beautiful outfits for me.”
