PITTSBURGH: HH Sheikha Mozah Nasser al-Misnad, the chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), visited on Monday the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre and the digital library at Carnegie Mellon University. Sheikha Mozah was greeted upon her arrival at the medical centre by its president Dr Jeffery Romoff.
She toured the facility that offers services such as research and medical training and health insurance programmes and that includes a special unit for cancer.
At the Carnegie Mellon digital library, Sheikha Mozah was shown some of the rare books added to the data base. She also attended a presentation about the library. - QNA
