Hotels offer Eid specials for guests

With the Eid al-Adha festivities kicking off tomorrow, local hotels have come out with a range of offerings for guests.
At the InterContinental, three days of Eid will be celebrated at The Café Restaurant where guests can feast on a full international and oriental brunch with a spread of Arabic specialties and sweets, together with live cooking stations, and entertainment between 12.30pm and 4pm.
The hotel’s Fish Market restaurant will host a special Lebanese brunch (12.30pm-4pm) and a traditional market display from 6pm to midnight for the first two days.
InterContinental’s newly-opened Mediterranean restaurant Mykonos is offering a 20% discount all through November and opens for lunch from 12.30pm-4pm and for dinner from 6.30pm until midnight, while Paloma Tex-Mex restaurant hosts three DJ’s where festivities start on the first day of Eid at 6pm.   
Special room rates are available during this period from QR799 including buffet breakfast at The Café Restaurant until November 30 (Monday), officials said.
In downtown Doha, W Doha Hotel & Residences is marking the occasion with hotel-wide specials on brunches, entertainment and room rates.
A 50% discount is being offered on W suite and Wow suites to all GCC residents and nationals. It includes breakfast, in addition to a 10% Eid brunch discount. For families “Wonderful” two-bedroom residences with a three-night minimum stay will be offered between tomorrow and December 5.
Holidaymakers can also join festivities at W Hotel’s daily Jazz Brunch at Market by Jean-Georges, on Friday at Spice Market with Southeast Asian delicacies, or at the Crystal Lounge the same day where French DJ Sacha Muki will be playing house, electro, and pop.
At the other end of Corniche, the Sharq Village & Spa is offering Eid getaway accommodation to guests from tomorrow until December 5.
The hotel will also offer a celebratory brunch at its all-day restaurant, Al Liwan, for three days beginning Friday priced at QR240.  
A deluxe resort-view room starts from QR950 (single occupancy). In-house guests get a 20% discount on food and beverages. Guests can access the pool and beach inclusive of Sharq bites at QR250, and indulge in Al Wanis Eid Package, priced at QR125 inclusive of shawarma at nights until December 5.
Nearby at the Doha Marriot Hotel, guests will be welcomed with Arabic coffee, dates, and mamoul cookies starting from today and throughout Eid.
The hotel is offering a special dinner ‘100 Meter Gourmet Route’ at its Restaurant Gallery to mark the Wakfat Arafat (Stay in Arafat), where six restaurants of the hotel will contribute.
In addition, the hotel will present ‘Layali Eid 2009’ on Friday at its beach, where Arab world’s foremost pop singers, Nancy Ajram and Fares Karam will perform for the first time in Qatar.
All dinner restaurants, Corniche (Mediterranean), All’ Aperto (Italian), Asia Live! (Far Eastern), Taj Rasoi (Indian), and Salsa (Mexican), and the JW’s Steakhouse will be open throughout the Eid from 7pm to 11.30pm, officials said.
Marriot is also offering special Eid rooms package including complimentary breakfast buffet at the Corniche Restaurant, and access to the gym, pool and beach.
