School Day celebrations

Birla Public School will celebrate its Sixth Founders’ Day for three days from today in the school premises from 5pm onwards.  
The first day of the cultural extravaganza will feature performances by the Kindergarten students. On the second day students of classes III to VI are to add more colour to the canvas.
Indian embassy second secretary M R Qureshi will be the chief guest and former administrative inspector of expatriate schools Masoud Mubarak the guest of honour.
On the last day of the celebrations, the school’s patron Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani and Supreme Education Council director Dr Ibrahim Saleh al-Naimi will be the chief guests.
Central Board of Secondary Education’s regional officer Des Raj Yadava, Birla Public School governing council member and Century Textiles and Industries president R K Dalmia, and the school’s board of directors are to be present on the last day.
Students of grade I, II and VII to XII will present cultural performances marking the finale of the celebrations. School toppers of class 10 in CBSE Board Exam 2008-09 will also be awarded on the occasion.
