HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani received at the Al-Wajbah Palace yesterday afternoon Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Gen. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani attended the meeting. The audience was also attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jawaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and a number of ministers.
On the Emirati side, the audience was attended by UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Executive Affairs Authority Khaldoun al-Mubarak, Under Secretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Diwan Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Mazrouei and Chief of the Intelligence and Military Security of the UAE Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Eisa al-Mazrouei.
Fraternal relations between the two countries and issues of common concern were reviewed.
HH the Heir Apparent hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and his accompanying delegation.
The banquet was attended by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and a number of ministers.
The UAE delegation later left Doha, wrapping up their short fraternal visit to Qatar.
HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani led well-wishers to see off the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince upon departure at Doha International Airport. |
