Volunteers taking blood samples from a visitor to the Villagio shopping mall during the diabetes awareness campaign yesterday. Scores of people sought information about the symptoms and treatment of diabetes and checked their body mass index and blood glucose from student volunteers.

Students from Qatar Pharmacy Undergraduate Society, Qatar University’s College of Pharmacy and Department of Health Sciences and University of Calgary – Qatar Nursing plus members of Qatar Diabetes Association took part in the campaign. -  PICTURE: Jayan Orma
