| The third Reach Out To Asia (Rota) gala dinner is set to take place on October 31 at the Museum of Islamic Art, with organisers claiming that they are aiming to make more than the $11.25mn they managed to collect at the dinner in 2006. The event is set to be attended by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, HH Sheikha Mozah Nasser al-Misnad as well as some 400 dignitaries from around the world. The evening will feature a charity auction to be managed by Sotheby’s, with the proceeds being used for launching future Rota projects within Qatar and the rest of the region. |
