The inauguration of the Adriatic LNG Terminal in Venice, Italy, today is a milestone achievement for Qatar, as the operating company of the world’s first offshore-gravity-based structure for LNG regasification, is 45% owned by a QP subsidiary.
The two-day inauguration will be hosted in Venice by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani in the presence of Italian Prime Minister Sylvio Berlusconi. The terminal has been designed, built and operated by Terminale GNL Adriatioco Srl, a company owned by Qatar Terminal Limited, a QP subsidiary. |
