Qatar’s AG holds talks in UK

Attorney General HE Dr Ali bin Futais al-Marri with British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State Chris Bryant and Ambassador Khalid Rashid al-Mansouri
London:
Qatar’s Attorney General HE Dr Ali bin Futais al-Marri has met British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State Chris Bryant, during his current official visit to the United Kingdom. 
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
The Attorney General also visited the Centre of Islamic Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the University of London, where he met the chairman of the Centre and the dean of the faculty of law.
He also met the Director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer and discussed ways of direct co-ordination between the offices of attorneys general in both countries to serve the Qatari community in the United Kingdom and the British community in Doha.
Qatar’s Attorney General extended an invitation to the British officials to attend the “Third Conference of Signatories to the UN Convention for Combating Corruption” to be held in Doha on November 7- 8.
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to the UK Khalid Rashid al-Mansouri. - QNA
