Llany Manza emerged champion in the ladies division of the United Filipino Bowlers Qatar (UFBQ) organised 2009 Mid-Year Masters Championship to celebrate the Philippines Independence Day at the Qatar Bowling Centre recently.
Janine Voz and Michelle Cunanan took the second and third positions respectively.
Ramil Gomez scored a spectacular six-game series of 1356 for an average of 226 to win the Master Champion in Class ‘A’ division.
Mon Merino rolled the high game of 275 to finish second and Robert Baylocon ended up third.
In Class ‘B,’ Yong Choo was the winner and in Class ‘C’, Sherwin Villareal was the victor. Darwish Alfaro topped in the Class ‘D’ category.
