A four-day course on stress management concluded on Thursday at the Regional Training Centre for Public Administration Asia-Middle East Dialogue, based at the Institute of Administrative Development in Doha. The participants were from Bangladesh, Djibouti, Philippines and Qatar. Among the Qatari government organisations attending were the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Family Consulting Centre. Also participating were delegates from Qatar Petroleum, Occidental Petroleum, Total E&P Qatar, Qatar Vinyl Company and Barwa. The course was presented by Taidin Suhaimin from Malaysia. Suhaimin is a nationally recognised motivational speaker on Malaysia’s radio and television networks. He has worked extensively in Brunei and Singapore. In addition, he is the author of five books, two of which are in Malay and three in English on leadership and management, public speaking and self confidence. Events Management is the next topic offered by the Regional Training Centre for Public Administration Asia-Middle East Dialogue and will take place at the Institute of Administrative Development from June 22 to 25. |
