Bangladesh MHM School and College won the overall championship in the scout campaign 2009 organised by Qatar Scout and Guides Association.
Twelve schools of six nationalities took part in the event held at the Marine Scout Camp, Al Khor.
BMHM School was represented by a group of 24 students and led by a teacher.
During the three days and two nights programme, the scouts were evaluated for discipline, creativity, fixing tents, marching, campfire, cultural activities and sports.
“BMHM scouts Sabbir Ahmed Dostogir and Najmus Sakib were adjudged best scouts,” administration director Major (retd) Nasir Uddin Ahmed said.
The BMHM team also received the champion trophy at the concluding ceremony. |
