TULU expatriates, under the patronage of Tulu Koota Qatar, went on a picnic on the second day of Eid al-Fitr.
Some 250 community members visited al-Shamal Garden.
Sports and fun events included tug of war, Bingo, running race, lemon race, sack race, reverse ball throw and cricket. They also took part in ‘kabadi’.
Four skits, presented in Tulu language by the members wowed the gathering. A tiger dance enthralled the group.
Senior members of the forum distributed prizes to winners and gifts to other members.
Ravi Shetty welcomed the gathering and appealed to all the members and the Tulu community to extend their support to the forthcoming event Doha Ki Shaam Rafi Ke Naam.
